Owen Sound, November 27, 2023 - Again this year, several local agencies are working together to recognize the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women and commemorate the 14 women who were murdered at L'École Polytechnique on December 6, 1989, in what has become known as the Montréal Massacre.

Last year's theme of adaptation, innovation, and growth to ensure TWC is reaching all women, children, and youth who need our help remained important this year, With the help of our community, we saw incredible support and began acting on our intentions.
September 2022
This year marks 40 years of TWC. Violence against women remains an important issue all around the globe, and we are proud to continue to provide support to women, children, and youth fleeing abuse.
June 2021
Last March, when COVID-19 forced the world to shut down, our staff remained steadfast in their commitment to supporting women and children staying with us.
