Make A Difference with The Women’s Centre
Volunteers contribute time and skills to help us deliver high-quality programs to women and children pursuing violence-free lives.
Volunteering offers the opportunity to learn new skills and gain new experience, all while supporting women who have experienced gender-based violence.
We offer a variety of rewarding opportunities based on your skills, interests, and availability, including administrative tasks, gardening, childcare, grocery shopping, committee work, and event support.
Due to the vulnerable nature of our agency, volunteer roles are available to women 18 years or older. Volunteers will be interviewed to determine their suitability for available roles.
We are seeking volunteer board members in the Grey and Bruce Community who are passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and gender-based violence.
Interested applicants must be committed and able to help raise funds and awareness for The Women's Centre Grey Bruce, and be able to train prior to our September 25th Board Meeting.
Seeking skills in any of the following areas:
• Strategic Planning
• Policy Making
• Law
• Human Resources
• Finance
• Experience with Unions
• Lived experience with
human trafficking, domestic violence,
and/or gender-based violence
Please email your completed volunteer form to info@thewomenscentre.org
