What is Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is an offence under the criminal code of Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. It includes sexual exploitation and forced labour.
We know that men, women and children of all ages and abilities are susceptible to this crime, although women and children represent the majority of victims in Canada.
